bukan senang yer nak jadi pendidik nih...
hehehe dulu yer yer jer ckp alaa keje cikgur relaks jer...
tapi tak setension mcm keje kilang lar! still lots of work need to be done..


let me tell you about the students in the poly.
most of them are less than average students during school days..yelar spm pun tak seelok mana...ada tue fail Maths pun terlepas boleh ambil Engineering course...bayangkan how the lecturers gonna deal with this people.


as for me, i have encountered some incidents that able to test my patience in order to teach the students...
firstly everyone already informed me that dont put high expectation on the students as their maths most of them are quite weak..pernah dgr ada yg fail maths masa spm and wondering how on earth dpt blajar dlm course EE engineering..errr dahla EE byk pengiraan..sbb my colleague told me that a simple algebra pun diaorg confuse and rasa susah sgt...let say x = 2 and y =2x, apakah nilai y? hahah ada tue confuse tau camner nak dptkan nilai y...
as for me, i need to teach instrumentation nyer subjek..kat sini mmg ada byk pengiraan..so segala calculation and jalan kerja kena tunjuk satu persatu...tak boleh skipped or short cut sbb budak tak kan paham..hahaha dahla YT bukan jenis yg suka buat calculation panjang2..so normally each time before the class start i will study first and do the example...pastu try buat and do it one by one...even nak hapuskan persamaan di kiri bawak ke kanan pun kena tunjuk..wah mencabar..


lps tue the students sampai final sem pun tak dpt membezakan what is nano, mili, kilo, mega means..penatla weih! they supposed to learn it during SPM pastu mestila refresh balik during their maths class kan? tapi till final sem masih tak leh nak differentiate...hehehe even tak leh hafal kalau current what is the measurement unit, inductance tue apa...ada tue main hentam inductance punya unit dlm Hertz..huhuhu padahal itu utk frequency..hahaha pening2..camner nak kerja kalau tak leh nak tentukan what are the units..kang tersalah amik components..suruh amik capacitor terambik resistor..tak ker meletup nnt components tue! hehehe mencabar sungguh nak ngajar walaupun berkali2 ingatkan diaorg..i think i need to reteach them again sbb my marking is a bit strict salah unit mmg tlk 1 markah walaupun nilai dah betul..kalau tak tau camner nak letak kilo tue sama dgn 10 kuasa 3 mmgla kena tolak 0.5 markah..hehehe


pastu diaorg masih tak tau nak menggunakan calculator...aku nih pun dah lupa especially yg ada nilai nyata and khayalan..hehehe sib baik dak2 sijil tak belajar sampai tahap tue..adoila. sabarkan ajer..


pastu i'm handling the sistem digit lab..kawan2 yg ambil electrical engineering will understand what i'm going to mumble about..ok the students dont understand what is "jadual kebenaran"..last thursday buat test lab utk diaorg...ada circuit yg diaorg kena pasang and ambil output dia...diaorg nih buat Flip Flop jenis S-R or J-K
pastu ada satu soalan supaya menulis jadual kebenaran utk jenis flip flop tue..hahaha boleh diaorg tny aku "cik Jadual kebenaran tue apa?"
wah nak luruh jantungku..huhuhu apala diaorg bljr dlm kelas sistem digit diaorg..hehehe aku ingatkan diaorg guna english terms..selamba jer aku ckp kamu tak tau apa itu "truth table" errr diaorg blur..siap nak lukis waveform lagi kat aku..hehehe aku ckp adoi bukanla..jadual kebenaran tue kalau masukan dia brapa, apa kombinasi dia and apa output dia..that is the teori..diaorg masih blur lagi..hehehe
tadi citer kat lecturer yg ngajar diaorg, ckp u better ask your students tau tak apa maksud jadual kebenaran..hehe lecturer dia ckp, adoi berbuih mulut dok ngajar sebut jadual kebenaran tue apa...huhuhu


agak mencabar jugak ngajar students yg kurang cemerlang nih..nak suruh fahamkan..some of the things are quite simple for us, tapi bagi diaorg susahla..even long calculation mulala masing2 ckp "peningla cik" hehehe...


kalau lab pulak, mcm last week experiment nak dibuat tue ada problem sket..sbb bergantung atas board and also the component tue..ada yg dpt terus and ada byk kali yg kena cuba baru dpt results..kagum gak dgn the batch of students as they dont really give up..tgk nak give up i give them some support..ckp its ok try troubleshoot, sbb kalau betul2 kerja nanti boleh ambil masa berhari2 nak solve the problem tue..nih problem kecik jer..hehehe ada tue salah sambung lar litarnya..hehe time tue kena bebel dgn aku sbb if i checked and found they did wrong aku bising2 lar..hehehe

gitula perasaan saya bila nak mengajar org...
dulu tak derla minat sgt sebenarnya..but i kinda like it know..
at the same time you will learn also those subjects maybe those day kat uni tak berapa faham sgt..now dah terlebih paham kot! hehehe


tapi seriously i hate all those pengkamiran, perbedaan, fourier transforms etc..sib baik budak2 sijil nih tak belajar tahap tue! hehehe else dgn lecturer skali lingkup weih!


till then..
